About Orange County

Orange County is one of the most populous counties in the American state of California. At last count a couple of years ago the populace tipped the scale at just over 3 million people. That is a lot of people by any scale of imagination. Also being home to a number of attractions like Disney world, it regularly receives a large number of travelers and tourists who make it a temporary home.

On top of that are the large number of businesses that call this county their home, means large amounts of materials and people regularly enter and leave the boundaries of this region. The point I am trying to make is that with so many people living and working here, with the huge number of businesses operating, the amount of junk or garbage that is generated is humongous to say the least.

Business of junk removal

The business of junk removal and hauling may not be attractive or pleasing to the eye, but it is still a viable stream of work nonetheless. If you already possess a truck or fleet of trucks then it is all the more easily to start up a hauling business.

The hauling business do not compete with the daily clearing services provided by the municipal authorities, but deal with commercial or home cleaning projects where whole attics, basements or even construction sites have to be cleared and hauled away.

This involves knowledge of proper dumping sites and regulations regarding the dumping of various types of waste materials. This involves applying and getting a number of licenses which would give you the necessary credentials to carry out the job.

Finally you would need the allied equipment like bins and personal safety equipment which are necessary for the proper functioning of the business.

Most of the Orange County hauling service companies are family based affairs with many offering services for both residential and business customers. They not only offer to haul away all of the waste material to the proper place but also offer to recycle whatever materials can be recycled. Owing to strict regulations of the County governing such businesses, they are required to possess the respective licenses for their services, which must be checked by the customers.

The customers must also check the service record of the firm to ensure that their waste is disposed of in a responsible manner. Payment is usually settled either on the basis of number of hours spent on the task or a complete contract is signed covering all the aspects of the hauling and offering a previously agreed upon amount upon completion of the project.
